CLÁSSICO DOS ANOS 70
O Armageddon foi formado em 1974, e seu álbum de estreia homônimo, Armageddon, lançado em 1975, foi gravado na Inglaterra e lançado nos Estados Unidos pela A&M Records. As notas originais do encarte do álbum usam o termo "supergrupo", já que sua formação era composta pelo baterista Bobby Caldwell (ex-membro do Captain Beyond), o vocalista Keith Relf (que havia liderado a banda The Yardbirds e foi cofundador do Renaissance), o guitarrista Martin Pugh (do Steamhammer) e o baixista Louis Cennamo (também ex-Renaissance e Steamhammer). Este clássico foi remasterizado e relançado em uma belíssima edição gatefold em vinil vermelho atômico de 180g para celebrar o 50º aniversário.
O album conta com o baterista Bobby Caldwell (CAPTAIN BEYOND), o vocalista Keith Relf (YARDBIRDS & RENAISSANCE), o guitarrista Martin Pugh (STEAMHAMMER) e o baixista Louis Cennamo (RENAISSANCE & STEAMHAMMER)
